At Burwood Acupuncture in Christchurch, we create personalised treatment plans to suit your needs. Alongside acupuncture, we may use traditional techniques such as cupping, moxibustion, or gua sha to restore balance. Each treatment is designed to ease symptoms, address the root cause of health concerns, and support your body’s natural ability to heal.

Burwood Acupuncture has a tiered fee structure for acupuncture. To qualify please bring your student ID or CSC card to your first appointment.

All prices are GST inclusive.

Private acupuncture

Private sessions are available for a wide range of health concerns. Women’s health, stress and sleep issues, pain management, skin conditions, and general well-being. Each plan is personalised, drawing on acupuncture and other Chinese medicine therapies to restore balance and promote long-term health.

Seniors/Students/Community services card holders

1 hour consultation + treatment - $90

ACC acupuncture

We work with the ACC to provide acupuncture for eligible injuries. Treatments are personalised, gentle, and focused on promoting healing, reducing discomfort, and restoring function.

1 hour consultation + treatment - $40

1 hour consultation + treatment - $30

Important ACC Notice

  • ACC will fund up to 12 acupuncture treatments within 12 weeks only.

  • The 12-week period starts from the date of your first treatment.

  • Your first treatment must be within one year of the injury date on your ACC claim.

Cancellation Policy

Please notify the clinic at least 24 hours in advance if you need to cancel or reschedule your appointment. This allows us to offer the time to other patients who may need it.
